The Toastermuseum.com-Project

The first question ("Why toasters?") sometimes is followed by a second one: "Why do you spend so much time on a virtual toaster museum?" The answer is easy: It's a prestige object. Oh yes, and it's for fun.

I'm a media designer with my own small design agency (Central Services - Media Design). I work for a lot of serious clients. This museum is a reference project I use to demonstrate my design style, my competence in programming modern websites and structuring information. The museum helps explaining boring stuff on the basis of unusual objects. And: The people remember the "guy with the funny toasters".

This site is the 3rd version of Toastermuseum.com (2005). It works on all modern Browsers. The 2nd version (2000-2004) you will find here. And the first one from 1996 (!) you can view here.
